The ATM manifesto outlines a comprehensive vision for South Africa, built on service delivery, moral governance, and social justice. Our key policy pillars include:
1. Crime and Safety
Reducing crime and violence through effective policing, community involvement, and addressing the root causes of criminality. Every South African deserves to live in safety.
2. Education and Skills
Free, compulsory, quality education without discrimination. Investment in skills development, vocational training, and youth empowerment programmes to equip the next generation for the future economy.
3. Healthcare
Universal access to quality healthcare through the National Health Insurance (NHI). Deployment of mobile clinics to underserved areas, upgrading mental health services, and expanding rural healthcare infrastructure.
4. Housing and Basic Services
Adequate housing for all citizens. Reliable delivery of clean water, sanitation, and electricity. Infrastructure development in neglected communities.
5. Social Welfare
Prompt disbursement of social grants indexed to inflation and the cost of living. Protecting vulnerable populations including children, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
6. Economic Transformation
Building a modern, inclusive economy that creates jobs, supports small businesses, and drives rural development. Special focus on agricultural projects and empowering disadvantaged communities.
7. Rural Development
National focus with emphasis on rural areas that have been historically neglected. Infrastructure, services, and economic opportunities must reach every corner of South Africa.
8. Anti-Corruption
Zero tolerance for corruption at every level of government. Building transparent, accountable institutions that serve the people instead of serving themselves.
